Once upon a time, a briefcase full of diamonds purchased by French Mobster Dede Fratelini were headed to its owner in Paris via Las Vegas, but the diamonds inconveniently disappeared somewhere in the middle of the Nevada desert. A ruthless killer on his way to prison escapes captivity and intercepts the briefcase by killing the carrier and hijacking his car. His ex-girlfriend Tatiana and her current lover Buitre foil his plans, disabling him. Now, FBI agent Franco Valle has to recover the diamonds and retrace their path, proving to be a complicated, and at times comical, task.

The brothers Michele and Roberto Mannu and their brother-in-law Stefano Fais run the Babbudoiu Estate, a wine farm founded in 1948 in the surroundings of Sassari. The three partners are totally careless of the economic crisis and they waste money organizing lavish conventions for the success of their wines. But all this is doomed to an end. As a matter of fact the three partners suddenly find out that their company has 500,000 euros of debts and they only have 15 days to find the money. And it won't be easy: they'll try whatever, with an escalation of despair, comic situations, misunderstandings and absurd episodes that will lead to nothing. And when all seems to be lost, they find the solution which was right under their eyes: a glass of Bianco di Babbudoiu.

Under the overall theme of unrequited love and having a crush on someone unattainable, the drama tells stories of various happenings that can arise in such relationships. The stories are told in perspectives from both man and woman, as if it were written from an omniscient point-of-view, which allows viewers to sympathize with both sides and adds another layer to seemingly ordinary incidents between men and women.
